Shere School is at an exciting time in its history. Since 2019 the school has worked closely with Clandon Primary School, with both schools sharing Mrs Vicky Voller as Headteacher. Following a consultation at the end of 2020/start of 2021, governors of both schools voted unanimously in favour of forming a federation between Clandon Primary School and Shere Infant School. At the start of the summer term 2021 the Newlands Church of England School Federation took over from the previous governing bodies of Clandon and Shere. The Federation has a new governing body with governors representing both schools.

The Federation presents both Clandon and Shere with an exciting future full of possibilities. Consultation documents, giving further information about the process and benefits of federation are available via this link: Newlands Federation.
